We encourage you to enroll in the Fencing Camp at Drew this summer. In an enjoyable atmosphere, our campers benefit greatly and improve substantially as a result of our program.
THIS CAMP IS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER FENCING CAMPS!
The quality of the teaching staff is unmatched, as is the ratio of campers to coaches.
Each fencer receives an INDIVIDUAL lesson each day, Monday through Friday, from his or her camp coach, in addition to all weapon-specific and general group instruction.
The training in technique, mobility, mental processes, strategy, and tactics is geared to
- (a) What to do
- (b) How to do
- (c) When to do
- (d) Against whom to do
- (e) Which to choose to do
- (f) What to avoid doing
- (g) Situational variation
- (h) Combat logic, game formation, bout structure, and more.
The lectures and seminars teach valuable subjects which are not usually taught in the context of school or club training programs, e.g. nutrition, hydration, training calendar, background training, cross training, time management, goal setting, and more.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
